10 Cleaning Hacks Using The Pink Stuff

The Pink Stuff has swept through the online cleaning community like a wrecking ball. This cleaning paste can tackle grime and stains from most surfaces and as a mild abrasive it does the hard work for you. Its ingredients at 99% natural, vegan, and non-hazardous. As well as coming with an attractive cotton candy pink colour, it smells great too.

The packaging doesn't do its skill justice, which is why we have put together 10 cleaning hacks using the Pink Stuff.

1. Scorch Marks

Scorch marks on your toaster make your appliance look old and grimy. You can use the Pink Stuff and a clean cloth to get rid of them easily. Likewise, you can use the paste to bring your barbecue a new lease on life, ridding it of scorch marks and residue. Give the Pink Stuff at least ten minutes to rest before you scrub it off. Saucepans are also prone to scorch marks, and you can ditch the brown-tinged-based or burnt-on food with the Pink Stuff and some elbow grease.

2. Grout & Tiles

Scrub the Pink Stuff into your grout with an old toothbrush and give it time to rest before you wipe it off. It's great on the body of the tile as well, whether there's mould, staining or discolouration – it's great for wall and floor tiles and grout.

3. Remove Rust

Whether it's tools or taps, or something else you're tired of looking at, use the Pink Stuff to remove rust. It's a mild abrasive, so if you have shiny stainless steel you should avoid using this product and opt for something else.

4. Tackle Stains

If you spill on your dining or coffee table, it isn't the end of the world. You can easily remove those stains with the Pink Stuff.

5Address Smoke Damage

Whether you bought a home with existing smoke damage or you've had a fire – the Pink Stuff can remove yellowing with ease.

6. Clean Your Shoes

You don't need to buy new runners just because yours look a bit grimy. They may be beyond the help of shoe polish, but this abrasive paste can get into all of the nooks and crannies to renew your runners. You can even restore the soles.

7. Soap Scum

If you have a soap scum or limescale problem, you can blitz it with The Pink Stuff. It will loosen the grime and make wiping it away light work.

8. Worktops

If you have stained worktops you can use the Pink Stuff to make your counters look brand new.

9. Outdoor Furniture

Outdoor furniture is constantly exposed to the elements, which means it gathers a lot of grime, tends to rust quickly, and might even start going mouldy. You can use the Pink Stuff to deal with all of those issues.

10. uPVC

Whether it's your front door or windowsills, you can brighten them up and remove stains with the Pink Stuff. It doesn't matter whether it's a mark, splash of paint or discolouration.

Whatever you're cleaning, scoop out some Pink Stuff with a sponge or cloth and spread the paste evenly before rubbing it in using a circular motion. Let the product sit before you wipe it off; you can rinse it with water if there's any residue left behind.
